• Pro Tools: Working with the Mix window closed is fully supported: track following, bank position and pan are correct without it. Pan is read exactly from Pro Tools' own readout, and stereo tracks show both pans
• Pro Tools: The insert list (button 1) follows selections made in the Edit window - it is read from the Edit window's track row whenever the Edit window is in front, so a Mix window hidden behind it no longer matters
• Pro Tools: If Pro Tools keeps refusing Auriteq's scripting session, the app now says so, with a Restart button, instead of leaving track creation, renaming and colours silently unavailable

Bug Fixes

• Pro Tools: A selected video track no longer sends the controller scrolling through the whole session. Video tracks have no mixer strip; they are now left out of the track numbering, so the controller's strips line up with Pro Tools again in sessions that have one
• Pro Tools: The insert list is refreshed right after a selection outside the controller's eight tracks, instead of showing the previous track's plug-ins first
• Pro Tools: After an app restart while Pro Tools keeps running, the controller no longer hunts through the session on the first click; the bank position is confirmed from Pro Tools instead of assumed
• Pro Tools: Plug-in inserts no longer take 7-9 s when Pro Tools' insert menu is slow to open, and the ~2 s pause before every insert on some installations is gone
• Pro Tools: Track creation, renaming and colours work again after Pro Tools is relaunched while Auriteq keeps running
• FL Studio: Idle CPU use - the meter and name updates that kept streaming while nothing changed are gone, and the 8-track bank no longer gets stuck on tracks 9-16
• Ableton Live: Play is a plain Play again - no cursor-position writes and no re-seek, which re-launched clips or jumped back on Live 12

New Features

• Logic: Loading a patch or an instrument preset from the controller (Plug-in Organizer, buttons 8 and 9) now leaves the Library panel the way you had it. If the Library was closed, it is closed again once the patch has loaded - previously it stayed open
• Pro Tools: The Shortcut library is now filled - 269 Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts in 17 categories (transport, recording, edit modes and tools, selection, editing, clip gain, zoom, automation, fades, playlists, clips, tracks, inserts and sends, file, MIDI, windows and Commands Keyboard Focus), ready to drag onto a slot, with Windows key equivalents where they differ. Previously the library was empty for Pro Tools
• Shortcut library: A note above the library now explains that the entries are the DAW's default shortcuts, so one you have reassigned in the DAW will no longer match, and that you can still record your own by clicking an empty slot. Shown for every DAW except Ableton Live, whose shortcuts cannot be changed
• Controller preview: Buttons that show text over a background on the controller (shortcut names, plug-in names) now show that text in the app's live preview too, instead of only the background
• Pro Tools: New Workflow setting "Transport & track buttons via Pro Tools scripting" (off by default). When on, Play, Stop and Record go through Pro Tools' scripting engine, and Solo, Mute and Record-arm address the selected tracks by name - every selected track, even outside the HUI bank - so they always hit the right track, also when another HUI surface shifts the bank. Needs Pro Tools 2023.3 or newer; falls back to HUI automatically when scripting is unavailable
• File menu: "Save Mappings" is gone - mappings, shortcuts and layouts have always saved automatically, so the item did nothing. In its place, Export Settings (Cmd/Ctrl+S) and Import Settings (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+S) run the same backup and restore as Settings → Backup & Restore

Bug Fixes

• Logic: With Logic Pro running in Italian, Portuguese or Traditional Chinese, nothing that drives Logic's interface worked from the controller: plug-in insertion (FX, chains, aux returns), track rename, track colour, patches and the tempo display. Fixed - Auriteq now supports every language Logic Pro ships: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese
• Logic: Some German and Japanese interface labels changed in recent Logic versions (Inspector menu item, library indicator, instrument slot). Updated, so plug-in and instrument insertion keep working there
• Shortcuts: After recording a shortcut into a slot, the app's controller preview could keep showing "RECORDING..." for that slot (the controller itself was correct) until the app was restarted. Fixed - the preview now follows the controller as soon as a button changes

New Features

• Pro Tools: Works from the Edit window - plug-in insertion, plug-in control, chain capture, track presets and the plug-in scan no longer need the Mix window in front. In the Edit window Auriteq uses the track's own insert slots (show Inserts A-E and keep the track at medium height or taller); when that isn't possible it switches to the Mix window for a moment and brings the Edit window back
• Pro Tools: Mono or stereo tracks - the new "New tracks (Pro Tools)" option in Settings → Workflow sets whether the audio, aux and instrument buttons of the controller's main menu create mono or stereo tracks. Hold the button for 2 seconds to create the other format. Tracks are now created without the New Tracks dialog and land right after the selected track
• Pro Tools: Key commands now offer every record mode (Normal, Loop, QuickPunch, TrackPunch, Destructive, DestructivePunch) and Dynamic Transport playback

Bug Fixes

• Pro Tools: The "Record Mode: Loop" key command switched Pro Tools to Normal and "Record Mode: QuickPunch" to Destructive. Fixed - existing buttons now set the mode they are named after
• Pro Tools: With the Edit window in front, inserting a plug-in could click the Edit toolbar (Shuffle, Slip, Spot) or type into Pro Tools instead of inserting. Fixed
• Pro Tools: Tracks created from the controller were always mono. Fixed - see the new setting above

This release is macOS only, as all changes concern Pro Tools.

New Features

• Pro Tools: Full DAW support on macOS (Pro Tools 2024.6 or newer, all tiers). Mixer, transport, track selection that follows the mouse, 4-knob plug-in control with pages, plug-in and chain insertion, track presets, creating aux/return and master tracks, naming and coloring tracks (several at once), an 8-track send mixer with live values, an insert list per track and aux navigation. Works with Pro Tools in any of its UI languages
• LUFS tab: Choose what the controller's LUFS view shows on buttons 1, 2, 4 and 5 by dragging values onto them in the controller preview - Integrated, Short Term, Range, RMS, Momentary, True Peak, PSR or PLR, one or two per button. Pressing a button that shows a value marked ↺ resets the meter. RMS needs Auriteq LUFS Meter 2.0 or newer
• LUFS Meter 2.0: The Mac installer now includes LUFS Meter 2.0 (VST3, AU and AAX). It installs next to older versions, so existing sessions keep their meter
• Rearrange buttons: Drag an assigned button in the controller preview to a new position on the same page - the buttons in between shift over, like rearranging apps on a phone
• Delete your own entries: Custom plug-ins, manually added Logic plug-ins, captured ChainKit chains and your own Ableton User Library presets and chains can now be deleted with the × that appears on hover (Ableton files are moved to the Trash, not erased)
• Custom plug-ins: Plug-ins added with "+ Add custom" are now saved per DAW and survive restarts
• Start minimized: New switch next to "Launch Auriteq when I log in" - Auriteq then starts in the menu bar (macOS) or system tray (Windows) without opening its window
• Ableton: Stock-device presets (.adv) can now be inserted with the controller. Hold an empty buttonand add the -adv manually to map it to that button for the first time. 
• DAW selector: The DAW choice in Settings is now a dropdown

Bug Fixes

• Roon: The controller no longer stops responding when Roon is running on the same computer
• Waves: Plug-in scans now find all Waves plug-ins on systems with several WaveShell versions installed (e.g. Waves Ultimate subscriptions)
• Logic: Loading track presets now works on French keyboards (AZERTY)
• Logic: Saved control-surface setups no longer show "invalid port" after restarting the app
• Logic: Picking an insert slot with button 6 or 10 no longer also jumps to the previous/next track
• Ableton: Device presets now load the right device when several presets share a name ("Init", "Default"…)

This is a major release adding Pro Tools as a fully-supported DAW on macOS. Pro Tools is not supported on Windows yet.

New Features

• Cubase & Nuendo: Full first-class DAW support with auto-detection via Steinberg's MIDI Remote API. All functionalities available.
• Sensitivity per parameter: New Sensitivity tab in the manager lets you tune the Fine / Normal / Fast step sizes per plug-in parameter, per DAW, on a 1-200% scale. Available for Logic, Ableton, Cubase / Nuendo and FL Studio. Stepped and toggle parameters keep their own discrete step handling
• Ableton: Rack macros are now directly controllable - click a rack's header in Live and the encoders flip to its macro knobs. Nested racks and Drum Racks navigate the same way; Previous / Next steps in and out of each nesting level
• After-insert behaviour: New Settings option to stay in the selection view after inserting a plug-in, chain or track preset - so you can insert several plug-ins in a row without leaving the organizer. Covers all four DAWs and every insert entry-point
• Logic: Per-slot plug-in insertion method - right-click a slot in Plugin Mappings to switch it between the fast Search-and-Add path and the slower channel-strip plug-in browser. A small "B" badge marks browser-mode slots; the preference persists across re-mappings. Useful if original insertion method fails in Logic 12. Logic 11 and 10 always use the channel strip method as Search-and-Add functionality does not exist in these versions.
• FL Studio: Device parameter control expanded from 16 to 40 parameters (10 pages of 4 encoders)
• FL Studio: Encoder 4 send-level mode - new Settings option to flip Encoder 4 from plug-in mix level to controlling the selected track's first active send route. Turning nudges the send in 5% steps; pressing mutes / unmutes it. Adjusting the send in FL Studio flows back to the controller display
• Launch on Startup: New Settings checkbox to auto-launch Auriteq when you log in. Works on macOS (Login Items) and Windows (Startup registry)
• Logic: New "Keep plug-in windows open" setting - when enabled, closing plug-in control mode leaves the plug-in window open for further mouse tweaks

Bug Fixes

• Ableton: The 40-parameter device pages are now fully reachable via swipe (previously capped at the first 4 pages / 16 parameters)
• Ableton: Send-page cycling no longer shows a stale value on the encoder display after moving a send
• Logic: After switching tracks with the controller, the encoder text for sends now updates to the current track's value instead of leaving the previous track's number on screen
• Logic: Pressing an encoder screen in the timeline scene no longer briefly flashes the Scene 1 volume/pan meter
• Logic: After cycling send pages and returning, the arc and text values now match so subsequent encoder moves nudge from the correct starting point
• Logic: Track color assignment works again on Logic 12.2, which changed the accessibility structure of the color picker
• Logic: Fixed the recall-bias in Logic 12's "Search and Add Plug-in" that could silently pick a recently-used plug-in of the same prefix - combined with the per-slot browser toggle above, ambiguous slots now insert the exact plug-in you mapped.

This is a major release adding Cubase and Nuendo as fully-supported DAWs. Cubase / Nuendo plug-in insertion requires Cubase 15.0.20+ or Nuendo 15+; earlier Cubase 14 still works for all other control-surface features.

• Sensitivity level indicator: optional visual display (one, two, or three dots) showing the current sensitivity level on the controller

• Automatic updates: the app now checks for updates and allows one-click updates from within the app

This is the last version that requires manual installation. All future updates will be delivered through the built-in updater.
